I spent every summer from the age of 18 to the age of 27 working as deckhand/captain at Fire Island Water Taxi in Bayshore, NY. I took a step away from being a captain to focus on my career as a software engineer for a few years. Now, that I'm living in FL where boating is a year round event I'm happy to be back and sharing the joy of life on bay!
